Elkhart woman enters plea agreement in 2018 murder case

An Elkhart woman has pleaded guilty to murder charges and faces decades in prison.

Cindy Goodwin, 52, entered the plea Thursday as she admitted to killing 50 year-old Johnny Mullins in April of 2018. Mullins was discovered in the woods near Goodwin’s home at the Walnut Trail Apartments.

She faces sentencing on March 26th and faces 45 years in prison and 10 years of probation after a plea agreement.
