An Elkhart man suspected of breaking into a home has been arrested after allegedly leading police on a chase.

Officers were called on Saturday morning, Feb. 8, to a home in the 4000 block of Shawnee Drive in Goshen for a burglary-in-progress.

Investigators say they saw the suspect, Kendall McGee, 40, leaving the area.

He led officers on a chase into Elkhart and was eventually taken into custody on preliminary charges of residential entry, resisting police and reckless driving.
