Victim shot, killed in South Bend Wednesday identified

St. Joseph County police have provided an update on a deadly shooting that happened in South Bend Wednesday morning.

Officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of Patty Lane just before noon on February 12, where they found a 19-year-old victim dead of apparent multiple gunshot wounds.

The victim has been identified as D’Shila Agnew. An autopsy is scheduled for Friday at 10 a.m.

Her death is being treated as a homicide. At this time, not arrests have been made in connection with the crime.
