A judge is standing firm on the July trial date for the man accused of killing a Goshen College professor back in 2011.

Winston Corbett, 24, faces charges of murder and attempted murder in connection with the death of James Miller and the attack on his wife, Linda, at their home in 2011.

Corbett was arrested in 2018 based on DNA evidence.

Corbett’s lawyers tried to get evidence suppressed, but the judge previously denied the motion, according to The Elkhart Truth.

The judge reiterated the early July trial date during a hearing last week.
