Driver accused in deadly crash in court today

The driver of a stolen vehicle who led police on a high-speed chase from the bypass to McKinley and Fir in Mishawaka, then crashed into another vehicle, killing the driver, will be arraigned today.

Travis William Logan Jr. took off on foot, leaving the injured passengers of both vehicles behind. He was arrested by South Bend County Airport Authority officers yesterday. John Riedle died after his vehicle was struck. Logan is charged with resisting law enforcement, leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death and leaving the scene of an accident with serious bodily injury.
