Monday, the VA said their clinics in Fort Wayne, Marion and Indianapolis will be among the first to begin using a new modernized scheduling system for their appointments. Congressman Jim Banks is a ranking member of the House Veterans’ Affairs Subcommittee on Technology and Modernization, and has been fighting for the change. He says the announcement means Hoosier Veterans will soon be closer to receiving the care they deserve. He says the plan should be in full effect by 2024 and save nearly 10 million dollars per year.
