Mishawaka secures $282,298 for local coronavirus effort

More than $282,000 in funding is headed to Mishawaka to help fight the spread of COVID-19.

Mayor Dave Wood received word Tuesday that The Princess City will receive $282,298 as part of the CARES Act signed into law by the president.

The mayor says the city will develop a plan for use of the funds soon, and he thanked the Community Development Corporation for helping to secure the funds.
