Some restaurants thanking first responders with free meals

Some restaurants are saying thank you to first responders with free meals…

In Mishawaka, Golden Corral is serving up meals to the St. Joseph Health System and the Mishawaka Fire Department.

A Facebook fundraiser is helping pay for the meals after the first 1,000 were donated by the restaurant.

Nationwide, Little Caesars says they’re donating one million pizzas to first responders and hospitals. The first donation happened on Tuesday in the company’s home city of Detroit.

Little Caesar’s says their donation should pay for four million meals, and they hope to donate more with help from customers — who can donate a pizza with their own online or app orders.
