Michigan Senators Stabenow and Peters endorsed Joe Biden for President in a joint statement Wednesday.

Debbie Stabenow said “Biden has always had our backs in Michigan,” and mentioned his work with the auto industry during the last financial crisis.

Gary Peters said the country needs a steady leader “now more than ever” who can bring the country together.

The endorsements came on the same day as another of Biden’s former rivals, Senator Elizabeth Warren, also endorsed the former Vice President.
