Elkhart Police searching for suspect accused of using counterfeit money at Walmart

Police are asking for help in finding a man wanted for using counterfeit money at a Walmart in Elkhart.

A counterfeit report was issued on April 1 after the suspect used a fake $100 bill at the Walmart on 175 County Road 6.

Police have provided a photo of the suspect, along with his vehicle. If you recognize him, contact Detective Janis at (574) 389-4711 or email the tip line at tips@elkhartpolice.org.
