Sisters of The Holy Cross get needed medical help amid pandemic

UPDATE: The Ladies of Notre Dame and Saint Mary’s College has received the needed medical assistance they requested after some of the sisters were diagnosed with coronavirus.

Message of gratitude from Sister Suzanne Brennan, CSC:

“Thank you for your tremendous response to our request for medical personnel to assist at Saint Mary’s Convent. We are now in a much better staffing situation. All of our sisters are receiving excellent care from our clinical staff. We continue to follow protocols from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). We are grateful for your support, love and prayer for the Sisters of the Holy Cross and for our dedicated employees.”

ORIGINAL STORY: The Ladies of Notre Dame and Saint Mary’s College is in need of assistance.

The sisters have been quarantined in the convent at Saint Mary’s, with no visitors allowed. Some of the sisters have recently become ill and have been diagnosed with coronavirus.

In response, Saint Mary’s has issued an urgent request for aides and nurses.
