Father, son killed in crash in Michigan City

A father and his son were killed in a crash in Michigan City.

It happened around 11 a.m. on Sunday, May 10, in the 5800 block of Franklin Street when a Honda Civic drifted left of center and collided head-on with a Dodge Ram.

A passenger in the Honda, 22-year-old Brandon Sparks, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver, 47-year-old Douglas Sparks, died at the hospital, according to 95.3 MNC’s reporting partners at ABC 57.

The driver of the pick-up truck was not injured.
