Woman sentenced in April 2018 shooting death in Elkhart

A woman charged the shooting death of a man, two years ago, has been sentenced in Elkhart County.

Cindy Kay Goodwin, 52, pleaded guilty to the murder of Johnny Mullins and was sentenced to 55 years with 10 years suspended to be served on probation and credit for the two years she’s already served.

It was back in early April 2018 when Mullins was found shot to death in a wooded area behind the Walnut Trail Apartments on Visscher Drive.
