Indiana State Police arrested a man for going more than 100 miles per hour on I-69 in Steuben County.

A state trooper was patrolling I-69 early Saturday morning when he noticed a Ford Taurus going 110 mph.

It took the state trooper eight miles to catch up with the Taurus, which was driving erratically. According to ISP, the car was swerving from lane to lane, speeding up and then slowing down, and even went off the road at one point.

At one point, the trooper clocked the car going 112 mph.

The trooper eventually pulled the car over and made contact with the driver, 26-year-old Nicholas Sajecki of Coldwater, Michigan.

The trooper suspected Sajecki had been drinking and, after an investigation, arrested Sajecki and took him to the Steuben County Jail.

Sajecki faces multiple charges, including operating while intoxicated, driving on a suspended license, and reckless driving.
