Potawatomi Zoo opening up to drive-thru visitors

(Tom Franklin/95.3 MNC)

Now is your chance to take the family to the Potawatomi Zoo, and you won’t even have to worry about parking.

Think of it like your own private zoo safari, only it’s inside your own car, and the danger of hippo attack is significantly lower. The zoo is opening up for drive thru visits that allow you to take your own car along a specific route through the parks property.

The drive-thru visits are by pre-purchased ticket only and there are specific times on both Saturday and Sunday. Unfortunately, if you didn’t buy them already tickets for this weekend are sold out. The price is $20 per car for members and $40 per car for non members.

You can find ticket sale information on the Potawatomi Zoo website.
