Two people injured in overnight shooting on Bergan Street in South Bend

Two people walked into the hospital early Thursday morning, June 4, with injuries from a shooting.

The gunshots were fired in the 2200 block of Bergan Street on the city’s northwest side. The shooting happened just after 3:30 a.m.

As of 6 a.m., there was no word on the extent of the victims’ injuries or the circumstances that led to the shooting.
