Hundreds of Indiana National Guardsmen have returned to the Hoosier State after serving in Washington D.C.

The approximately 400 soldiers were deployed to the nation’s capital to help protect local communities and infrastructure during the ongoing protests. Soldiers manned traffic control points, provided security and escorted emergency personnel.

All returning service members will complete a Post-Response COVID-19 Screening before leaving camp. The screening will consist of an assessment of exposure history, a temperature check, and a check for COVID-19 symptoms.
