Bethel University’s third annual Give Back Gala is set for next month.

The purpose of the event is to raise money for the Bethel Fund, which supports student scholarships and areas of greatest need.

Last year, the Give Back Gala raised more than $220,000.

Due to ongoing coronavirus concerns, this year’s event will be virtual. Keynote speaker, JC Watts, will speak from campus to a small, in-person audience, which will be simulcast for virtual viewers.

Watts is a former congressman, ordained minister, CNN contributor and professional athlete.

This year’s event will take place on July 17 at 5:30 p.m.

Virtual tickets are $50 each, and are available at BethelUniversity.edu/GiveBackGala. $45 of every ticket counts as a tax-deductible gift to the University.
