Police say that it happened around 9:30 Tuesday night near the intersection of Main St. and Wilden Ave.

An 8 year old girl that was riding her bike in the area says that a man drove up behind her and tried to grab her off her bike. The girl says she bit and kicked the man until her let her go.

The girl’s mother tells ABC 57 News that they regularly practice these scenarios just in case, and she is encouraging any parent with a young child to do the same. Goshen Police have not released any information since it was reported, but say the investigation is ongoing.
