An 88-year-old man has died from his injuries after crashing his scooter in Elkhart last week.

Elkhart County Police report Willard Mast was traveling northbound on State Road 19, near Fairfax Avenue, on Friday, June 19, when he collided with a curbed sidewalk. He was then ejected from his scooter.

Monday, Mast died from his injuries at a local hospital.
