South Bend-Mishawaka YMCA members will soon have another gym to go to.

Venues Parks & Arts and the YMCA of Greater Michiana have partnered with the O’Brien Fitness Center on Walter Street in South Bend.

Beginning July 6, the O’Brien / YMCA Partnership will allow the Y to offer its services at another location. This comes as the South Bend YMCA building announced its closure in May.

The partnership will expand offerings of both the O’Brien Fitness Center and the YMCA. Members will be offered access to the fitness center, complimentary childcare watch, unlimited group fitness classes, exclusive Les Mills fitness programs, access to most YMCAs nationwide, and discounts at VPA programs and amenities including golf, basketball leagues, camps and more.

Next month, both members of the Y and members of the O’Brien Fitness Center will be given full access to the O’Brien Center. Starting this fall, a new, all-inclusive membership rate structure will be released.
