A shooting at a party in Lake County sends a 15-year-old girl to the hospital.
Police say the girl was shot in the back Saturday night.
But instead of calling 911, her friends took her to a nearby Taco Bell.
An ambulance picked her up there, and she was later airlifted to a Chicago hospital.
Police say they’re not sure why the girl’s friends didn’t call 911 sooner.
