20 year old Juan Trainer is accused of running from police late last week as they attempted to pull him over for a suspended license. After his arrest, he admitted to police that when he saw the squad car activate its sirens he panicked and ran.

As police attempted the pursuit, an officer collided with a vehicle on the road, sending its driver to the hospital. That driver was treated and released. Trainer’s charges include felony resisting law enforcement and misdemeanor reckless driving.

According to The Elkhart Truth, Trainer told police that he reached 110 miles per hour during the chase before he finally slowed down.
