Man charged in Bristol shooting

Police say that 35 year old Henry Roy went to the victim’s home around 1pm on Sunday and accused him of taking a trailer.

The situation escalated into a fight and the victim being choked. After the victim’s dogs got involved Roy went to his car and grabbed his handgun. He fired several shots into the home, and threatened to shoot the dogs. When the victim pulled out his shotgun Roy fled the scene.

His charges include attempted aggravated battery, strangulation, criminal mischief, and carrying a handgun without a license.
