Three death row inmates set for execution in Terre Haute next week

It’s been 17-years since the last inmate was executed at the federal prison in Terre Haute.

Next week, three inmates on death row are expected to be executed.

They are Daniel Lewis Lee, Wesley Purkey, and Dustin Honken.

Lee is guilty of killing a family of three from Arkansas in 1999. An eight-year-old girl was among the victims.

Purkey kidnapped a 16-year-old girl, raped her, killed her, and then dismembered her body in Missouri in 2003 .

A jury in Iowa convicted Honken on killing five people in 2004.

Protesters against the death penalty were out in front of the prison gates on Monday, July 6.
