A woman in Cass County died after being run over by a golf cart.

The collision happened around 1:30 p.m. on  Friday afternoon, July 24, in the 25000 block of 67th Street in Wayne Township.

Patricia Corbridge, 79, of Dowagiac was struck by the cart in her yard by the cart which was being driven by her husband, according to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office.

Circumstances that led to the collision are under investigation but drugs and alcohol are not considered factors.
