Plymouth woman sentenced after baby’s meth-related death

A Plymouth woman was sentenced on Friday, July 31, to 17 years in prison after her 2-month-old child died from meth-tainted breast milk.

It was back in December of 2019, when prosecutors say Ashlee Rans, 36, ingested meth and then breast-fed the infant, who died afterwards.

Rams has three other children and is currently pregnant.
