Man injured in Benton Harbor shooting Wednesday

One man is injured after a shooting in Benton Harbor Wednesday.

Police were called to the 1300 block of Agard Street just after 7 p.m., where they found a 33-year-old man lying on the ground suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital for surgery.

ABC 57 News reports witnesses at the scene told police there was an argument over a dice game that turned violent. They say the suspect waved a gun, shot at the ground and then shot the victim before running off while firing more shots.

The suspect has not yet been identified. If you have any information on the incident, call Crime Stoppers at (574) 288-STOP.
