Notre Dame ramping up efforts to get students tested for COVID-19

The University of Notre Dame has ramped up its efforts to get students who attend the school tested for coroanvirus.

According to the university, they tested nearly 12,000 students before the start of classes on Monday, around 8,600 of which were undergraduate students.

The results came back later in the evening and found that only about 33 students tested positive for the virus.

That’s less than one-third of one-percent of the number of students tested.

Students are required to wear masks on campus and practice social distancing whenever possible.
