Just before 11;30 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 21, Mishawaka Police Department received a 911 call from the 100 block of S. Roosevelt St. in reference to a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers found the victim, Ryan Serafino, shot at least once.

A second man, also 28, was taken to the hospital before police arrived on scene.

That person suffered at least one gunshot wound and is currently in critical condition.
