Warsaw woman killed in crash at U.S. 30 in Kosciusko County

A Warsaw woman was killed and another man critically injured after a crash in Kosciusko County.

The collision happened aourn 7:15 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 21, at U.S. 30 and County Road 325.

Investigators say Nancy Barrett, 77, was a passenger in a 2007 Ford Fusion that was struck by a 2015 Toyota Tacoma, according to investigators.

The Fusion was traveling southbound and crossed in the eastbound lanes of U.S. 30 when it was t-boned in the passenger side by the Tacoma. Barrett died at the scene. The driver of the car was airlifted to a Fort Wayne hospital.

The driver and passenger in the Tacoma were released from the scene.
