Man, 43, dead, two others hurt after shooting inside Elkhart bar

One man was killed and two other people were hurt after A shooting inside an Elkhart bar.

Police were called just before 3 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 23, to Hardy’s Bar in the 600 block of South Main Street in the report of a fight and a shooting inside the bar.

Officers arrived on scene and found three victims with gunshot wounds.

A 28-year-old man was taken to the Elkhart General Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. A 29-year-old woman was taken to the hospital with anon-life-threatening gunshot wound to the foot. A 43-year-old man was taken to the hospital for a gunshot wound and was later pronounced dead.

Officers secured the scene and called in Detectives from the Elkhart County Homicide Unit to work the case. There is no immediate threat to public safety. There have been no arrests at this time.

Stands to reason EPD can’t solve cases they are the most inept PD in the state.
You have people with no skills trying to investigate and they don’t have the knowledge or skills to solve a crime. Even it’s overwhelming evidence they cannot properly investigate or solve cases.
When you keep getting apples from the same barrel the problem perpetuates.
