UPDATE: The driver of Sunday’s rollover crash in Cass County has died.

Police report Aaron Marquardt, 27 of Edwardsburg, was pronounced dead Monday morning.

A man was airlifted to the hospital following a crash in Cass County Sunday night.

Police were called to the crash on Barron Lake Road, south of Pokagon Highway, just after 7:30 p.m.

Police report a car was traveling northbound on Barron Lake Road when the driver lost control of the vehicle at a curve, and collided with a utility pole. The vehicle went airborne and rolled multiple times.

The driver was airlifted to South Bend Memorial Hospital, but the extent of his injuries were not released.
