Three people injured in crash on U.S. 12 in Cass County

Three people were hurt in a crash in Cass County.

It happened around 11:20 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 28, in the area of U.S. 12 and Birch Road in Porter Township.

A vehicle driven by a 20-year-old Granger man was turning left from U.S. 12 into a private drive when he failed to yield to a vehicle driven by a 50-year-old Goshen man, according to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office.

The driver who police say caused the crash, his 17-year-old passenger and the driver of the other vehicle were taken by ambulance to Elkhart General Hospital for their injuries.
