The Penn-Harris-Madison School Board of Trustees voted unanimously to bring students back into classrooms next month.

The board recommended grades Pre-K through 3 return to in-person classes on Sep. 14. Grades 4 and 5 would return on Sep. 21.

Grades 6 through 12 will be on a hybrid model beginning Sep. 21, according to 95.3 MNC’s reporting partners at ABC 57.

The hybrid schedule would follow a schedule where all students are virtual on Mondays, students with last names A through L would be in-person on Tuesday and Wednesday, and those with last names M through Z would be in-person Thursday and Friday. Students not in-person would be virtual.
