Cassopolis woman pleads guilty in death of child

A Cassopolis woman has pleaded guilty in the death of a child with special needs.

Erica Rescheke, 30, was arrested along with Brandon Hobbs in February 2019 after the 10-year-old girl died from ingesting methamphetamine.

Reschke pleaded guilty to two counts of Neglect of a Dependent. She’ll be sentenced in November, according to WSBT.

Hobbs was sentenced to three years in prison last year.
