Man arrested in Cass County for stolen motorcycle, drug possession

A man is facing jail time after he was found in possession of a stolen motorcycle and drugs during a traffic stop in Cass County.

The Cass County Drug Enforcement Team assisted the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office with stopping the vehicle Tuesday, after the driver attempted to flee.

During the stop, officers located a stolen motorcycle, a handgun and a large amount of methamphetamine.

A 39-year-old man was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Distribute, Felony Firearm and Possession of Stolen Property. His name is being withheld pending arraignment.
