Two people hospitalized after being shot early Saturday morning in South Bend

Two people are recovering after being shot in South Bend.

Officers were called around 2:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 31, to the 3500 block of S. High Street in reference to shots fired.

When they arrived, they found the two victims who were taken to Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The South Bend Police Department Shooting Response Team was called to the scene and has taken over the ongoing investigation.
