Main St. Trick or Treat event in Elkhart doesn’t go off as planned

The Main Street Trick-or-Treat event in Elkhart that was set for Saturday afternoon, Oct. 31, did not take place.

This, after event leaders didn’t receive the proper approval from the Elkhart County Health Department.

Organizers are now making the necessary revisions to the mitigation plan in order to get approval.

So, there is still more candy to get.

The city says if there’s ever been a year to have an extra Trick-or-Treating, 2020 is it.
