Guilty plea from suspect in South Bend gas station shooting death

Dotson, Jr., Raymond M./ St. Joseph County Prosecutors Office

It’s a guilty plea from the suspect who prosecutors say shot and killed a man at a Phillips 66 gas station in South Bend.

Joshua Flinn died in October 2019 at the corner of LaSalle and Lafayette Boulevard after a witness told investigators he saw Flinn arguing with Raymond Dotson Jr.

Prosecutors say Dotson fired several shots at Flinn, killing him, and then drove away.
