Indiana lawmakers vote not to wear masks during next week’s meeting

Indiana lawmakers will not be required to wear face masks at the Statehouse, despite the fact that a statewide mask mandate is in effect.

Republicans on a joint House-Senate committee downvoted a proposal to enforce the face mask policy when they meet next week.

WSBT reports Tuesday will be the first time state lawmakers will meet in person since the pandemic began back in March.
