Boil order in effect for parts of Cass County Michigan

A boil order is in effect for residents in Penn Township and Vandalia in Cass County, Michigan.

The advisory was issued after coliform bacteria was detected in the water supply.

Until further notice, residents and businesses should not drink the water without boiling it first. All water should be boiled for one minute and then allowed to cool before using.

Anybody with questions about the boil advisory, is asked to contact Cass County Water System olperator-in-charge Keith Moss at 517-231-5773.
