Wind gusts topping 60 mph possible on Sunday

A wind advisory is in effect until 7 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 15, for all of Michiana.

Wind gusts, especially near the lake Michigan shoreline, could top out in the 50s with sustained winds in the 40s.

Power outages are possible and lake shore erosion is likely in a few areas. Rain will remain in the forecast through the early Sunday afternoon. Temperatures will hold in the 40s throughout the day.

Monday morning cloud cover will begin to clear and sunshine looks to return during the afternoon. High temperatures on Monday will top out in the 50s. Dry weather will stick around throughout most of next week, but then rain chances return next weekend.

Sunday: Rainy and windy. High 48.

Monday: Mostly sunny. High 50.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny. High 42.
