Two people were injured in a crash in Berrien County Sunday.

Police were called to the crash on E. Main Street near Reum Road around 3:40 p.m., where they found a Niles man lying on the ground, unresponsive, and pinned under his vehicle.

Officers were able to lift the truck enough to free the victim, and CPR was performed until he regained consciousness. He was transported to a local hospital where his injuries were listed as serious, but not life-threatening.

An investigation reveals the victim was pulling out of the Birchcrest Mobile Home Park in his Ford Ranger when he pulled into the path of a Chevrolet Suburban.

The Suburban was pulling a small landscape trailer with a Honda ATV 4-wheeler.

After the crash, the Ranger ran off the roadway and came to a rest near a small wooded area.

The driver of the Suburban was also transported from the scene to a local hospital, where he was treated and released with minor injuries.
