Big Notre Dame football, basketball schedule changes

The ACC has cancelled the Notre Dame – Wake Forest football game that was set to take place on Saturday, Dec. 12. The league’s athletic directors evaluated the teams in contention for the championship and made the call to end Notre Dame and Clemson’s regular seasons after this weekend. The Fighting Irish have already secured a berth in the championship game.

The University of Notre Dame men’s basketball 2020-21 home opener against Western Michigan, scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 2, has been canceled due to the unavailability of players on the WMU roster, according to www.UND.com. At this time, there is no make up date. Notre Dame’s home opener will move to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 5, which is their match up with Purdue Fort Wayne.
