Man found dead inside home on Falcon Street in South Bend was murdered

UPDATE: The man whose body was found in a home in the 400 block of Falcon Street in South Bend was the victim of a homicide. Metro Homicide investigators say 61-year-old Richard Reynolds died of blunt force trauma and stab wounds. Police discovered Reynolds’ body around 1:30, Saturday afternoon, inside the home. Anybody with information about Reynolds is asked to contact Metro Homicide or Michiana Crime Stoppers.

ORIGINAL STORY: The body of a 61-year-old man was found inside a home in the 400 block of Falcon Street in South Bend.

Police were called to the home just after 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 19, and discovered the body of Richard Reynolds inside.

Officials suspect foul play but await autopsy results before they declare the death a homicide.
