Indiana health officials say the new strain of COVID-19 detected in Britain isn’t cause for alarm.
More than 40 countries are restricting travel from the U-K, and New York is requiring air passengers arriving from the U-K to test negative before boarding. Indiana health commissioner Kristina Box says the state will be “appropriately respectful” of the mutation, but says there’s no indication it will render the new COVID vaccines ineffective. She says the new strain is more easily transmitted, but isn’t any more deadly.
Box says the higher infectiousness underlines the importance of the precautions health departments have advised all along: wear your mask, wash your hands, maintain social distance, and stay home if you’re sick.

How would she know? She hasn’t been correct a single time since Januayr1, 2020. She has supported lies in the data. She has lied to Hoosiers and helped the pretend governor in this Republic become a tyrant and dictator. Not a legacy to be proud of at all.
