A man from Bremen was killed in Monday’s chain reaction crash near Nappanee.

Noel Jimenez, 55, died at the hospital after the multi-vehicle crash on U.S. 6. Police say he was stopped and waiting to turn onto C.R. 100 when a truck approaching his vehicle from the rear failed to stop.

That driver has yet to be charged but the investigation is ongoing.

Two people in the other four vehicles that would be involved in the crash were also injured.
