A new homeless shelter for men has opened in Goshen.

A separate facility for women and families was already in place, and a new facility is being planned that would house everyone under a single roof, according to WSBT.

This new shelter is for homeless men who have had difficulties staying in other facilities, and was created through the efforts of the Goshen Interfaith Hospitality Network.

The facility participated in a weather amnesty program during the recent stretch of cold weather.
