The Community Foundation of Elkhart County has invested almost $700,000 into a trio of education efforts.

The Foundation, part of Elkhart County’s Board of Directors, has awarded more than $692,000 in Career Pathway grants to three nonprofits that are central to the county’s education and development of career pathways.

$170,000 went to ETHOS for STEM Activation support. $200,000 went to Horizon Educational Alliance, and the rest to a pair of separate grants for programs through Goshen College.

The grants were approved in December.
